Band Council Car Wash
Car washes are held during the summer, with dates set up by graduating class. In addition to raising much needed funds, the class that makes the most money on their car wash is allowed to sleep in one morning at Orkney band camp. Proceeds from the car washes go toward Band Council funds and are used to make major purchases for the band program. The purchase is presented at the annual Band Awards Banquet in June each year. The dates of each car wash are below. All car washes are from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Giant grocery store in Oakton at Chain Bridge Road (123) and Hunter Mill Roads. |
